West Haven vacant building fire Front St.

04/02/18 West Haven, CT - West Haven firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire on Front St. Members familiar with the area had a sense it was a long abandoned factory. The Former Mattlaw's warehouse. Truck one arrived reporting smoke and fire from the building. Due to the deteriorated condition, an exterior attack was ordered. Firefighters used multiple hand lines and one aerial to douse multiple fires set throughout the building. The cause of the fire is suspicious and under investigation.
