West Haven ( West Shore) 253 Highland Ave. dwelling fire

05/26/16 West Haven, CT - Firefighters from West Shore and the Center District respond to 253 Highland Ave for a reported smoke coming form the house. West Shore companies arrived to find one and a half story, wood frame with heavy smoke showing. Firefighters stretched three lines on the fire and had it under control within twenty minutes. The cause of the fire is unknown. There were no reported injuries.
