West Haven Georgies Diner 427 Elm St. commercial building

07/03/20 - West Haven, CT - Firefighters received a phone alarm for reported smoke in the diner. A quick response from companies less than a block away found smoke issuing from the building. A fire was found burning in the basement of this establishment. Three lines were stretched with one operated to quickly knockdown the fire and keep the damage to a minimum. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
