West Haven Debonair Motel fire

09/26/16 West Haven, CT - A fire was reported at the former Debonair Beach Motel on Beach St. The report was received by numerous callers shortly before 5pm. Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire issuing from one end unit. Two lines were stretched for a quick knock down with slight extension to the next unit. The cause of the fire is suspicious as the building had been vacant for two years.
