West Haven, CT 2nd alarm 24 New St. dwelling fire

03/29/22 West Haven, CT - Deputy Chief Johnson arrived first due reporting a two and a half story, private dwelling with fire out the windows on the number two and three sides. Members quickly stretched lines to knock down the heavy volume of fire. Firefighters did have to contend with extension to the attic. Trucks quickly opened up to keep the fire from extending further. All searches proved negative. The fire marshal's office is investigating.
