West Haven 2nd alarm 37 Water St. vacant commercial building

02/17/19 West Haven, CT - Firefighters were called to fight another abandoned building fire in an area slated for redevelopment. Firefighters found a two story, commercial building with heavy fire through the roof. A second alarm was transmitted on arrival bring additional city units. Two aerials , three multiversals and several hand lines were employed to bring the fire under control. The state fire marshal was called in again to assist the local marshals with the investigation.
