West Haven 18 North Street dwellling fire

07/30/15 West Haven, CT - Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a kitchen fire around seven thirty Thursday evening. First arriving companies found smoke showing from a two story , wood frame dwelling. Multiple lines were stretched along with topside ventilation as the fire quickly spread to the second floor. All searched proved negative and the fire was brought under control in about a half hour. One firefighter was treated at the scene for exhaustion.
