Paterson, NJ 2nd alarm E.24th St. and 19th St. dwelling fire

07/04/20 Paterson, NJ - Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire issuing from the number two side of a two story, private dwelling. Firefighters had to deal with a three story exposure problem on that side as well. Firefighters made an interior attack stretching multiple lines. Trucks searched and vented topside. The searches proved negative as firefighters took a beating operating in temps hoovering around ninety. A second alarm was transmitted bringing additional manpower to the scene. The fire extended to the second floor before being brought under control in about forty five minutes.
