North Plainfield, NJ 3rd alarm 58 Myrtle Ave. vacant dwelling

07/04/23 North Plainfield, NJ - Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke showing from the top floor of this vacant dwelling. Multiple alarms were transmitted as a result of the heat and humidity. Firefighters chased the fire throughout the top floor and void spaces before bringing the fire under control within and hour. The cause of the fire is believed to be lightning strike.
