Wallingford 298 Ward St. Basement Fire

05/25/14 Wallingford, CT - Companies responded to 298-300 Ward St. for a basement fire. First due units found a smoke condition eminating from the basement multiple lines were stretched and operated. Truck 1 opened up and found extension to the first floor. The fire was held there and knocked down. No one was injured and several people had to seek shelter due damage from the fire.
