Meriden CT 2nd alarm 57 Wilcox Ave. dwelling fire.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire venting from the first floor of this large, two and half story wood frame. The fire quickly traveled throughout the dwelling due to high winds prompting the removal of firefighters from the dwelling. The fire took control of the attic area and burnt through the roof. Multiple hand lines were stretched and one ladder pipe was put into operation. The fire took about an hour and a half to bring under control.
