Guilford 15 Whitfield St. dwelling fire

04/03/21 Guilford, CT - Companies arrived to find smoke coming from the top floor of this private dwelling. Multiple lines were stretched as the fire ran the walls of the 180 year old dwelling. Companies chased fire into the attic before being able to bring the fire under control with the help of topside ventilation. The fire took about forty five minutes to bring under control. There was a report that work was being done on the interior of the house prior to the fire. Mutual aid from Branford and Madison responded to the scene to assist.
