New Haven Pin Job Ella Grasso Blvd. Truck vs. Car

09/24/11 New Haven, CT - A automobile traveling northbound on Ella Grasso Blvd rear ended a tractor trailer just before two this afternoon. The accident happened at the intersection of Ella Grasso Blvd and Columbus Avenue. New Haven Firefighters from Engine 11 and Squads 1 & 2 worked for about twenty minutes to extricate the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle. He was taken to Yale New Haven Hosp. with serious injuries.
