New Haven Kimberly Ave Auto Body shop

04/06/09 New Haven, CT - Firefighters from Engine Co. Eleven were dispatched on a still alarm for a reported car fire next to 241 Kimberly Ave, just before Eleven Thirty. While enroute the box was filled out for a reported structure fire. Engine Eleven arrived on scene and transmitted the "73" for a commercial auto repair shop with fire showing. One two and a half and two inch and three quarter handlines were stretched to darken down the fire. Truck Co. Two vented the roof as searches were intiated and proved negative. There was one car on fire inside the structure as well as one outside against it. It is unknown where the fire started at this time. The marshal's office is investigating. The fire was brought under control in about a half hour.
