New Haven Fire Department Old Engine 9 Dedication

10/11/12 New Haven, CT - A 1909 Westinghouse horse drawn fire engine was put n permanent display inside New Haven City Hall. Originally placed at Engine Co. 9 the piece remained with the department for 50 years and then was decomissioned by the department. It made its way into collector hands and the a barn in Massachusetts before being discovered by a farmer in a barn. It was traced back to the department by the builders plaque placed on it.
