New Haven 889 Elm St. dwelling fire

01/08/22 New Haven, CT - Firefighters arrived to find smoke and fire emanating from the first floor windows on the number two side. Three lines were stretched and operated. Initial reports of someone trapped were proven negative by the searches. The cause of the fire is being investigated. One occupant was treated at the scene.
