New Haven 566 Howard Ave fire in a dwelling

01/28/17 New Haven, CT - Firefighters responded to 566 Howard Ave for a reported sparking light fixture. A second call reported smoke in the premises. Firefighters found fire in partitions on the second floor. Trucks opened up and found some extension which was quickly brought under control. Twenty seven people were displaced. The cause of the fire in under investigation.
