New Haven 2nd alarm commercial building fire Blatchley Ave and River St.

07/08/19 New Haven, CT - First in companies were confronted with a large volume of fire showing from the roof area of a large industrial, manufacturing facility. This prompted a second alarm to be transmitted for precautionary purposes. Squad 1 arrived and hit the fire quickly, minimizing and further fire spread. Truck companies forced entry and companies quickly knocked down some interior fire. The plant was not operating at the time of the fire. New Haven's fire marshal is investigating the cause.
