New Haven 2nd alarm 716 Dixwell Ave

06/13/15 New Haven, CT - Firefighters arrived to find heavy on the rear porches which then extended into the second and third floors. A second alarm was transmitted by orders of DC Marcarelli. Firefighters aggressively opened up and quickly knocked down the bulk of the fire. Several families were displaced and one firefighter was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
