New Haven 2nd alarm 35 Pendelton Street

Firefighters arrived to find a three story , wood frame, occupied with heavy fire on all three floors of the front of the house. Multiple people were trapped and needed rescue . Firefighters were able to remove all the occupants. The heavy fire was then knocked down. Firefighters had alot of interior work in the form of extensions on all three floors. The fire took about an hour to bring under control. Some occupants were transported to the hospital for amoke inhalation and evaluations. The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
