New Haven 2nd alarm 172 Quinnipiac Ave dwelling fire

02/04/21 New Haven, CT - Firefighters in the Annex area were turned out for a reported dwelling fire. Engine 5 arrived to find fire showing from a garage converted into a residence. Companies stretched multiple lines, but were hampered by the layout of dwelling and chased fire throughout. A second alarm was transmitted bringing additional crews to assist with the manpower intensive job of chasing the fire and overhauling. The cause of the fire in under investigation.
