Rear of 225 Vine St. dwelling fire

12/25/1994 Bridgeport, CT - Engine 4 arrived to heavy fire showing from the rear of the address. The fire originated in a garage converted to an apartment. The fire traveled throughout the apartment and entered the main house. A special call for an additional engine and truck was made. Firefighter were able to cut off the fire on the third floor of the house to prevent further spread. This was a rooming house densely packed with people.
