Bridgeport, CT 2nd alarm 3260 Main St. condo complex

02/16/12Bridgeport, CT - Engine 12 arrived to find an apartment fire on the top floor of this condo complex. Firefighters had to rescue several people who were trapped in their apartments giving the fire a good head start. A second alarm was transmitted, but not before the fire extended to the attic. The fire ran the entire length of the complex before being brought under control. Several occupants and firefighters were taken to area hospitals. The fire was brought under control in an hour and a half.
